Collection · Commercial furniture

Hospitality and office furniture that has to last a thousand sittings a year.

About a third of what leaves the Kepayan workshop goes to a boutique hotel, restaurant, clinic or office. The brief is different: more pieces, tighter coordination with the interior designer, harder-wearing fabrics. The standard is the same.

What we do for venues

One workshop, one project manager, every piece accountable to one person.

Most of our commercial clients have worked with us on at least one prior home commission and come back when they open a venue. We work directly with you, or in coordination with your interior designer, project manager and contractor. We provide CAD-ready drawings, lead times, on-site installation and a single point of contact for the duration of the fit-out.

We have completed fit-outs from 8 to 84 pieces for venues across Sabah and the Klang Valley.

Common briefs

Where our commercial work usually lives.

Boutique hotels

Reception desks, lobby seating, in-room writing desks, banquettes, restaurant chairs. We have furnished two hotels of 24 and 31 rooms in Kota Kinabalu over the past three years.

Restaurants and cafés

Banquettes, dining tables, bar tops, coffee-shop seating. Hospitality-rated fabrics, frames designed to survive nightly cleaning, finishes that don't show wine stains.

Design-led offices

Long shared desks, boardroom tables, kitchen banquettes, lounge furniture for client-facing spaces. Designed for reconfiguration as teams grow.

Clinics and consulting rooms

Reception furniture, waiting-area seating, doctor's desks. Antimicrobial fabric options for clinical environments. Pieces that read like a home, not a corporate office.

Showrooms and galleries

Display plinths, bench seating, low cabinetry, podiums. Materials and finishes that complement rather than compete with the work on display.

Private clubs and co-working

Lounge chairs, banquettes, communal tables, library shelving. Pieces that perform under high traffic but feel residential to the user.

How a commercial commission runs

Drawings, prototypes, batch build, install.

Most commercial projects run eight to twenty weeks from sign-off to install. We provide milestone updates fortnightly and will raise any timeline risk the moment we see it.

Have a venue opening?

Send us drawings, a mood board or a brief and we will come back within two working days with first questions and an indicative timeline.
