Turboniq Atelier Sdn Bhd (Registration No. 1568432-X) is a bespoke furniture studio registered in Malaysia, with its workshop and registered address at Lot 22 Jalan Industri Kepayan 3, Kawasan Perindustrian Kepayan, 88300 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. When you enquire through our contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide — usually your name, email address, optional mobile number, the collection you are interested in and the description of the piece you are commissioning. We do not ask for, and we do not store, information about your finances, identity documents or anything outside what you tell us in the form.
When you simply visit the site, we record very limited information — the page you visited, the date and time, your IP address (truncated to the network level) and the type of browser you are using. We use this only to keep the site running and to understand which pages are useful.
We use the contact information you provide to reply to your enquiry and, if a commission proceeds, to coordinate the design, build and delivery of your piece. We retain the original brief and email thread for the duration of the project plus seven years afterwards, in line with Malaysian commercial record-keeping obligations.
We do not use your information to send unsolicited marketing. We will only email you about a separate matter (a new collection, an event, a journal entry) if you specifically opt in.
We don't sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers strictly necessary to deliver your project — for example, the courier or freight company carrying your finished piece, or the bank handling your payment. Those parties only ever see the minimum information required for their part of the work.
The website is served over HTTPS. Contact form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection. Inside the studio, client information is stored on access-controlled systems and is visible only to the team members working on your commission.
Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to ask what we hold about you, to correct anything inaccurate, and to ask us to delete it once your commission is complete. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within thirty days.
